Muffin Tin Monday- Shapes

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

This weeks theme with Muffin Tin Mom was NO THEME!

What!?

What on earth was I going to do!?

I am still new at having a themed lunch and I felt clueless.

"Ok Momma, think. What are you teaching in Tot School this week?" Red. Um, it's a little difficult to come up with red foods spur of the moment when your son can't have artificial red dye. Sooo.... I asked hubby and he suggested shapes.

SHAPES!

Great. Easy. Shapes it is!

So here is the boys Muffin Tin.
We did Star shaped cheese, square PB&J pieces, and oval/cirlce grapes.

You'll have to ignore the fleece jammie shirt in the summer. He's 2. He chooses what he wants to wear!

I know, soooo creative. Maybe next week will be better?! You can see more muffin tins at Muffin Tin Mom.

  1. I was toying with a shape theme this week too. Like all stars or all circles or something. Instead I had a brief moment of insanity and did something harder :P I like yours. And your kids probably liked yours just as much as my kid liked mine. OTHER people's kids are more enchanted with my efforts than my child is!

  2. Cute lunch and very cute boys!

My favorite "Help, I can't think of a theme" meal is numbers--1 sandwich, 2 cheese, 3 grapes, etc, or one number for everything 5 grapes, 5 crackers, 5 carrots. ;o) And definitely done that one around here, many many times!

  3. I love the pajamas and the stars. JDaniel loves his construction equipment pajamas. It doesn't matter that the pants look more like long shorts.
